As a younger (23) patient who is new to the area, I read reviews on the doctors and chose Dr. Taraschi because of his many positive reviews. All I can say is they were right. Dr. Taraschi is a really friendly and down to earth doctor. He immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and I immediately felt comfortable confiding in him despite knowing him for only minutes. In the past I've had bad experiences with doctors who are foreign and therefore extremely unfriendly. Dr. Taraschi is American. I enjoyed the way he would actually converse with me about a topic rather than just "nod and listen". Overall I had a great experience and only one staff member I talked to seemed grumpy. The receptionists who answer the phone sound a little annoyed too but dont like them disuade you.
Have been seeing Dr Taraschi since 2000-2001. I've found him very personable, very interested in me and my health. I wouldn't trade him for the world. I don't know what me and the rest of his patients will do when he decides to retire. Just love him.
I've been going to Dr. Taraschi for 5 years now and have always found him to be thorough, medically competent and interested in me as a person. The office makes every effort to accomodate me and my wife when we have an urgent need and most of the employees are pleasant. The ones that aren't are usually short lived and we never see them again. After being gone for 3 months this summer and having to have my care managed by a large provider in Michigan, I'm doubly grateful for the great care we get from Dr. Taraschi and the Omni health system.
