This Pizza Hut used to be a favorite for my family and I, at least one meal a week we would order from here, until recently. I was in the process of looking for work when I applied here, received a call to come in for an interview. The first interview went well, and I was called in for another with the Store Manager Cindy. She was a nice woman but that's about as far as I'll take it. After finishing my interview I informed her of another interview I had in a few days and I would contact her in the coming days so we could work out schedules as I didn't want any scheduling conflicts between jobs.
It's no wonder they have had the same "Help wanted" sign in their window for two years. You've lost a great emoloyee as well as a customer to your competitor! Good job!
As it so happens the Domino's down the street offered me the same position for over a dollar more per hour than offered at Pizza Hut, and the manager there contacted me directly and wasted no time persuading me away from waiting to hear back from this one, she told me this wasn't the first time she has stolen employees from Pizza Hut, and I assume it won't be the last if they continue this pattern of what could be called anything but professionalism.
In a few days I called the store to speak with her and was shrugged off, I don't understand what happened inbetween the few days we had contact, but my last interview was the last I heard from her. I called to speak with her a total of four separate times on four separate days and was told each time she was busy and would call me back as soon as she was able. The last time I called I could hear her in the background making up excuses for why she couldn't speak with me. I didn't have time for this nonsense. The holidays are right around the corner and I need a job. If you are afraid of a two minute conversartion that will tell someone whether or not they need to continue looking for a job than I could only imagine the poor judgment in higher pressure situations. My interaction with this company has been the least respectable and the most unprofessional encounter I've had in years.
It's the best Pizza Hut in town. If you have ever had Pizza Hut food, this is just like all the others. The staff is what makes this store better than all the rest. They are extremely friendly and make this Pizza Hut worth going out of the way, getting out of the house and taking in the full restaurant experience.
Needs to be painted and redecorated badly. However service was friendly and quick and the food was good!
