I wish I could give them ZERO stars, but that is not possible. They will put the water under the homeowner's name, charge them a monthly fee for the service, and NOT TURN THE WATER ON. I was paying for the service for over 5 months on a home that was for sale, and when the home inspector showed up after the house went under contract he found no water at the house! I was livid, and of course the people in charge will give you a lame excuse as to why they didn't turn the water on when they put it in your name and charged you for it. Despicable!!!
We just moved to Palm Bay and had to get our water turned on at our new place. A VERY unfriendly lady named Angela served me. She was unprofessional, rude and should NOT be in customer service. I received much better service from West Melbourne utilities. This is a bad reflection on Palm Bay. If I had that job I would treat people with a little more respect and dignity as they deserve, after all we do pay taxes which I believe is how she gets paid?
disgraceful lot of bureaucratic property tax raising liberals. If you like consistent tax raises to support greedy firefighter pensions...then this is the city council for you. These guys will raise your millage rate at the drop of a dime, they have no fiscal self discipline and continue to maneuver and squeeze the same taxes from a declining population that they did when we lived in a boom. Disgraceful lot of sorry do nothing politicians.
