Had my hair cut at this place end of last year and I really liked it. So went there today hoped could have my hair done as nice as last time. I went there at rush hour just before 5pm and waited for more than hour but I did not mind. But I was very disappointed since it turned out not what I want. I even showed the stylist the picture I want. At the end I asked her why it didn't look like in the pictures and she said because it didn't blow dry. I asked why it doesn't have many layers in the back and she said it already has many layers. I am not sure if it is because I didn't explained very well but I assumed the picture worth more than thousand words. Anyone could tell it was totally different hair style!!! I think the stylist was tired just wanted to finish as soon as possible. I tried to chat with her since it felt awkward to keep silent but she ignored my talks. Anyhow, I took pictures of myself and sent to my friends they all said it was not as good as I had last time. My mother said she could have my hair done at home if she knew it turned out like that. Very disappointed and will not come back except I could find the stylist from last time.
Update after 3 months: Very happy and pleased to have Amy cut my hair this time. Just what I want! Thank you so much! Will definitely come back in the future! Thank you Hair Cuttery to put customer’s satisfaction on the top of priority!
Stylest did a horrific job. Uneven sides. Neckline wavy. Completely missed the style I was going for. I cant believe how bad it was. I left there and went somewhere else to get the mess fixed. I will never come back!
My son came in to get a hair cut before school starts later this week. We asked to have his hair shampooed, cut and styled. The stylist couldn't be bothered to shampoo his hair but charged me for it anyway. The cut she did isn't what we asked for and is much shorter than what we wanted. Tried to be polite while she was cutting his hair and reiterate what he wanted done but the stylist became agitated and argumentative, insisting that she was doing what was asked. She then told us "The only difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks". We will not be back to this location.
I went back to Hair Cuttery in Bayside Lakes again today, back to Catherine, and just like the last time she was so attentive with attention to detail all the way. She was supposed to finish at 4:00pm and didn't finish my hair until 4:30pm. I applogized for keeping her past her time to leave and she said "no problem, you are important right now, making sure you are happy when you leave is more important" and she was genuine. Once again, my picture in hand she nailed it. Catherine listens, cares and does. I will go to her every time my hair needs color, wash, cut and style.
Decent experience. Felt a bit rushed and almost assembly line feel. If you're looking for friendly cheerful service go elsewhere, but if a quick wash & cut with no chit chat is what you're looking for than this is the place for you.
