My wife and I stayed there twice a couple of years ago and would never go back. The people who ran the place were rude and nothing there but a place to park your motorhome.
If I could rate this park 0 stars I would. Has to be the most unprofessional management staff I have EVER spoke with. The woman was rude, snotty and all together unpleasant. We were repeatedly warned that absolutely no children were allowed to so much as VISIT us if we stayed here. There are vastly superior parks all over the place. I'd recommend staying away from this one unless you feel like paying more for less.
Stayed 11 years, loved it and the several managers over the years !
My husband Perry and I have lived here at Breezy Palms 2 years this coming July and we've loved it. The managers Patrick and Juliette couldn't be better at what they do. The long-term and snowbird neighbors we have are all really nice and we've had no problem with anyone. The park is sort of laid back, which we love, but like any business you have to have some rules to make things run smoothly. If you are looking for a nice quite park and at a great price I couldn't recommend a better one.
When the manager, Patrick Mccarthy has to post his own favorable review, (see below) you know something is amiss. This park is very run-down. The grounds and are poorly kept (no pest control) and the rec hall and bathrooms are moldy, dirty, and full of cobwebs and bugs. Another reviewer commented about the electric rate, which is higher than any other park around at 15 cents a kwh. The manager doesnt tell you until you're paying your bill that it's that high because he charges for lighting the common areas, which is fine, but people need to know that upfront. Speaking of electric, when I asked about whether the electric had been tested for voltage strength, the managers snotty wife says "oh, you're going to be picky now!" There are some nice people here and some people, Pat and her sister Deb, (park bullies) who think they're better than anyone else living in the same situation. For long term, or a few days, I would not recommend this park.
