There is a place in the world for this type of service, but personally I found it to be both a waste of time and money. If you are looking for anything more than a general wipe down I would give this a skip.
I could not find anyone around to assist if need be, and there did come a time or two when I required and explanation as to the operation and function of the equipment. This unfortunately made the experience rather frustrating and in the end I would have probably been better off taking my vehicle home and giving it a manual scrub with a good old bucket and some soapy water.
*edit: while this was still the second time I've had trouble here the owner did call me back in the morning and offer to refund my money.
I have to be honest, I have not made use of a lot of 'self-service' car washes. That being said, I found this one to be rather hodge-podge in it's setup.
I get more water pressure from my garden hose. After paying about eight dollars to clean my truck there I want home and cleaned it myself in my driveway.
Do not waste your time using their decrepit old car wash. After paying eight dollars for a car wash my vehicle is still covered in gunk. The "free vacuum" lasted for about 6 minutes. Go down the street to the better car wash.
Second time the automatic car wash has charged me but not worked. Called the number on the side of building but got no answer. Will be doing my best to get a refund through my credit card. What a waste.
Vacuum broken, drive thru wash out of order. Do it yourself wash was not so good.
