We love the Tree of Life cafe. The staff is always sweet and friendly and the food is always amazing. It's so nice to see them grow and expand.
Best cuban food in Melbourne. Portions are large and good prices. It's a whole in the wall, but don't let that deter you. Place is clean, servers are nice and food is delicious!
The food is so delicious and fresh here. I've taken boxes of pastries to work - way North of here - and have had coworkers make the drive to eat here! It is seriously THAT delicious. The Cuban Sandwiches are made to order. They have ham, cheese, pulled pork, pickles mayo, mustard and oil. We always get ours without the mayo. Delicious and HUGE. I've not had too much experience with Cuban coffee... but it is delicious here. I didn't know how to order it the first time so one of the staff helped me out. Guava pastries are the best. Cheese and coconut are delicious too. Savory pastries are delicious for brunch items or a quick lunch contribution. You have to wait a while sometimes... but they take phone calls so you can be doing other things while you wait.
Everything here was amazing. The young lady (I forgot her name) was the sweetest. This place is great because it's right of 95 and right by a gas station. Real authentic flavor here. Coffee is top notch.
Just a hole in the wall but very good food at very reasonable prices and most importantly authentically Cuban. Other restaurants around here advertise Cuban food but are only imitators. Do not expect an amazing experience but do expect good food from really nice friendly people that work there.
